The prophet Mohammad was born in Arab 570AD and everyone knows he will be the last messenger to establish Religion or GOD made law. Some verses of the last law book Quran will confirm you that the Islam is the complete version of the religion. Now have a look at the historical situation in Arab that time.
Prophet Jesus was killed 570 years ago and 12 saints were killed within 10-50 year time maximum as they were captured by the same Roman Empire. So the GOD made law wasn’t anchored anywhere as the bible was completely lost without any trace. The historical reality is all 4 books of messages of GOD came in the middle of the earth then spreading from their. The first law book Torah had 12 laws which was more or less memorised by everyone in the known world at that time whether people were following them or not. Similarly the spiritual powers were demonstrated by prophet(s) like Jesus also was known to everyone.
Arab-India-China trade resulted in a situation people used to import sculptures of various GODs from India to Arab then warship them. Even inside the house of GOD in Arab people were that wasted with art, music and meaningless talks with a false label of prayer or religion. As you can clearly visualise that the Torah or Bible were not the source of those nonsense. You’ll also know that the prophet Mohammad abolished slavery in Arab in his life time which came back again in 1400 centuries during European colonisation after fall of Ottoman Empire.
As soon as prophet Mohammad becomes the prophet by the message of GOD via angel Gabriel what he did have a look. He banned all kinds of nonsense from the prayer places disturbing and disgusting portraits and sculptures of people, human, animals that they were claiming as god to pray. That culture still remained in India and Christianity who never tried to understand what is GOD, what is creator and as simple as it is humans cannot creat humans or the whole world.
Anyways, now when you read verses of holy Quran putting alcohol, music, lazy-talk in a row to make them haram you must visualise the situation in Arab at that time which was referred to. There must not be any confusion that those three things must not enter houses of GOD.
There is no specific or clear instruction in holy Quran or Hadith about making music and song as completely haram or as a media of entertainment. As I said above in the one verse which puts all three in same place. Now in the Hadith prophet Mohammad seemed to allow non adult women to sing and to play musical instrument like Tamborine (duff) on occasions like Eid, Wedding. From this Hadith most scholars couldn’t come to one answer what about other musical instruments. Most of them seemed be in belief that string, woodwind and percussion instruments cause serious mental imbalance from their experiences of use of them in the contemporary society. Here we can see that the prophet Mohammad allowed the appropriate use of the idea for entertainment on occasions only.
In a reverse Hadith prophet Mohammad holds his ear not to listen to the sound of flute that someone was playing. It was interpreted by scholars that music should not be granted as a profession to keep convincing people all the time in their illusions. This will distract people away from purpose of life. So don’t buy music. Don’t listen to them as a purpose of life but casual occasional entertainment may be. It could be the reason the flute player was playing music at the wrong time and wrong occasion may be not an adult thing to do or adult way of thinking. Entertainment cannot not be purpose of life as a commonsense. The reality is if you want casual entertainment on occasions for free from probably known unknown people you will need a lot of musicians and singers in society.
Now if you ask me the simple question what exactly the purpose of our life. I will look at it from the end when you die. That is certain, living life is not certain. So life is designed to save things for after life which is infinite may not like your physical existence in the world or the earth we know. You may already know that you are a person even when you don’t feel your body or you don’t have a body or physical existence. You will find a long list of savings that will be accepted in the bank of GOD to open an account for you in the one of the 7 classes of heavens. If you are lucky you might get promotion over time. I wouldn’t recommend you to open account in the hell just for this foul talk and fun of illusion all the time. In a normal day you usually have a lot of productive things to do I believe.
I would say most people will realise in a second that the versus of Holy Quran has an illusion like music and songs. It is expressions of GOD in human language that is already in human society for more than 1500 years now. It has stuff notation like music which the singer of Quran must follow to avoid committing a sin with wrong pronunciation. Only male adults can sing them loud must be super accurate when it is public. Yes they contain some stories of people lived in middle earth and became examples for the prophet(s) to explain the GOD made law. So in the house of GOD only verses of GODs are allowed for prayer purpose.
People can explain things in poems, literature those were explained by the GOD so as prophets. But people have no permission to use them as media to deceive people to wrong direction or propose some laws from their own opinions. Humans are doing exactly similar kind of regular activities from the beginning of the world. So the GOD made law that is establishing over time cannot become old or invalid. I would say humans may not implement even 10% of GOD made laws in this world by the time it will end. It may be the 50% of it was discovered in all possible contexts of reality up to today. Prophet Mohammad in his last word advised people to identify “what is wrong?” Then don’t agree with a wrong thing when you know it is wrong already. In a variety of context, consequences of reality you might be lost sometimes. But you always know what is wrong that was clarified in the Holy Books.
Now when I conclude this article I would recommend to know some of the prophecies of Prophet Mohammad to understand span of considerations of the prophet when was putting finger in his ears not to listen sound of musical instrument to permit its use as purpose of life. Prophet Mohammad said humans will see the whole world on their thumb nail one day. From this prophecy we can assume that the world is not ending in some decades probably until we see the world on our thumb nails.
Have a look at the world from 1500 years back again when GOD made law was established in the world for the second time. As you know the story of 12 brothers, 12 independent states with 12 GOD made laws came to Prophet Moses was the first one. During the time of Prophet Mohammade capitalism was it’s top pick. People we knew as Jewish or followers of Prophet Moses were gradually captured by influences of Roman Emperor and excepting those kings as gods. Their lending policies and demand for upfront interest was effecting business, family and their lives in Arab but no one had power to protest. When prophet Mohammad killed all those kings one by one, the people becoming rich with the influence of kingdom were in serious jeopardy. Upfront agreement of interest was banned in GOD made law but share of profit & Loss become law of business. Religion kept becoming popular and only way of thinking with power of GOD made law who came to close contact to it. When Arab to Spain all kings were completely abolished, their supporters and Jewish capitalists didn't have any other ways to come back into lime light without the help of a similar kind of religion like Cristianity. They started writing their versions of Quran and Hadith using the names of 12 saints to make them acceptable to people who were not exactly ready to accept the complete version which requires a lifetime dedication at every levels of life. The Bible we find today is human works started coming into publications after 700-1300 when Khalifat was ending and newly flourished religious kingdoms were becoming popular. The main aim of this paragraph is to show that the development of the world was happening in an even situation with balance. First of all it was declared that the Prophet Muhammad where ever he placed his foot in his lifetime created wealth underneath the soil. As we know gold and other natural resources like fossil fuel generate naturally but it was not the case in arab. The wealth was spreading from arab to other parts of the world who were coming into contacts of Muslim emperors. The balanced growth of development was first interfered by European colonies when they started stealing wealth from India, Africa, Latin America with the name of kingdom. These people were pirates and thieves started looting all over the world from 1400 and at some point claimed them as King or queen who are the main reason we see the imbalance of wealth and serious poverty in some places of the world. The same capitalism came back in force as the capital of a huge number of the world population was stolen for (1400-1900) 500 years. Europe has a wrong eye for fossil fuel when it appears to be truth that fossil fuels in arab seemed to be unending. If you check some maps for Ottoman emperor over times you'll see how it was winning and losing vast parts of the Europe in Mediterranean sea. All these barbarian used to travel far north of Europe and come back to loot again with the name of kingdom.
